Two Legal Experts Debate Indicting Trump

"Should Trump Be Indicted?" is the sort of question where everyone would seem to have an opinion, often based on one's partisan affiliations. But, from a legal standpoint, it's a complicated matter. On the new episode of nonpartisan podcast Intelligence Squared U.S., two legal experts sit down to debate the question. One of them happens to be a former Congresswoman.

Arguing that he should be indicted is Barbara Comstock, an attorney and former Republican congresswoman (2015-2019) from Virginia. Prior to elected office, Comstock served in senior rules at the Department of Justice, was chief counsel for the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, and served as outside counsel on numerous high-profile government investigations.

Arguing that he should not be is Tom Ginsburg, a law professor at the University of Chicago and a scholar of international and comparative law. He is the author of several books on constitutional democracy and the rule of law, including most recently 'How to Save a Constitutional Democracy.'
