Waylon Payne Announces Fall Shows In NYC, LA, DC And More

Outlaw country troubadour Waylon Payne is back on the road this Fall, and he will open select dates for fellow Texan and esteemed songwriter Robert Earl Keen. Additionally, he is slated for direct support on Elizabeth Cook’s 11-date Aftermath Tour, which kicks off in New York City at Mercury Lounge on Thurs., Aug. 12. The pair will make stops in major markets including D.C., Los Angeles, Austin, Seattle and more. 

Payne will perform songs off his critically acclaimed album ‘Blue Eyes, The Harlot, The Queer, The Pusher & Me,’ which was lauded as one of 2020’s best by NPR, VICE, Rolling Stone, Stereogum, Garden & Gun and many more. The son of Willie Nelson’s guitarist Jody Payne and GRAMMY-winning country singer Sammi Smith (“Help Me Make It Through The Night”), and godson of Waylon Jennings, Payne’s performances offer a revival of classic country.
