We The Kingdom Announces 'Live At Ocean Way Nashville' Out July 2nd Via Capitol Christian Music Group
Listen to “Child Of Love” today (6.22)
Two-time GRAMMY Award-nominated We The Kingdom has already sold out 13 shows on their first ever headlining tour. Now, they’re bringing their dynamic and invigorating performances to fans with the release of their ‘Live At Ocean Way Nashville’ album on Friday, July 2nd via Capitol Christian Music Group.
Recorded at Ocean Way Studios in Nashville, the album’s lead track “Child Of Love” is a live version of the K-LOVE Fan Award-nominated breakout single and Top 10 Billboard Christian Song. The organ-led, soulful spirited groove takes a new life; watch/listen to “Child of Love” here: https://wtk.lnk.to/COLlivePR
“This song, as many of ours do, came from procrastinating in rehearsal,” says band member Scott Cash. “We started to jam on a riff, Franni started singing the melody, and out came a song that reflects the different musical influences in the band… and grabs our passion for worship all at the same time. For us, it’s worship; it’s rock and roll and a little bit of yacht rock, all wrapped up into a song that we love with all our hearts.”
We The Kingdom joins a list of iconic artists who have recorded at Ocean Way in Nashville, including Paul Simon, George Strait, Harry Connick Jr., Sheryl Crow and many others. The live record features songs from the band’s Billboard Music Award-nominated and chart-topping 2019 album debut ‘Holy Water,” which includes No.1 singles “Holy Water” and “God So Loved.”
We The Kingdom is a multi-generational family of musicians composed of brothers Ed Cash and Scott Cash, Ed’s children Franni Rae Cash Cain and Martin Cash, and close family friend Andrew Bergthold. They were the Billboard No. 1 Top New Christian Artist of 2020, Dove Awards’ New Artist of the Year for 2020 and have amassed more than 265 million+ global streams.
Tour dates currently run through November 2021 (all local and state protocols observed), with stops at major arenas -- including Red Rocks Amphitheatre -- fairs, festivals, and venues across the US. For tickets and more information, visit wethekingdom.com.
