Wrabel Announces New EP and Co-Headlining Tour with Billy Raffoul

Will Release New EP, 'one of those happy people,' In September

To Make Austin City Limits Debut On October 13th

General On Sale, Friday 8.09 @ 10AM Local Time at wrabelmusic.com

Today, Wrabel announces his upcoming co-headlining October tour with Billy Raffoul, the "happy people sing sad songs tour" with support act Joy Oladokun. Wrabel will play iconic venues including the Troubadour in LA and Bowery Ballroom in NYC. Kicking off Oct. 1 in Seattle, the 10-date bi-coastal run will bookend the singer/songwriter’s debut at Austin City Limits Music Festival on Oct. 13.

The dates follow a 25-date string of appearances on the European leg of P!nk’s Beautiful Trauma World Tour where they performed their collaboration “90 Days” off the pop superstar’s recent Billboard 200 chart-topping album 'Hurts 2B Human'.

On this run of dates, he will take the stage solo and debut live songs off his upcoming EP 'one of those happy people’ (out Sept. 13 on Big Gay Records), including the second single “magic” which will drop Aug. 16.

In addition to new material, Wrabel will play a set list full of the compelling & earnest, piano-driven pop that has earned him over 2.07 million monthly followers on Spotify, including his heartachingly relatable “11 Blocks”, his anthemic “The Village” which he wrote in reaction to the news that federal protection for trans students was taken away in public schools, and a gorgeous solo, stripped-down version of the previously mentioned P!nk collab which Entertainment Weekly called "one of the most stunning songs [P!nk has] ever recorded.”

This past spring Paper Magazine said “you will love to love Wrabel”, praising him as an artist that “writes autobiographical songs rooted in his experiences with love, self-esteem, and as an outspoken member of the LGBTQ community,” while Billboard said “Wrabel is primed for a major breakthrough, and you ought to be on board for when he finally does.”

Aside from his P!nk collaboration, he has penned songs for and with the likes of Kesha  (“Woman,” “Here Comes the Change”), Afrojack (“Ten Feet Tall”), and The Backstreet Boys (“Don’t Go Breaking My Heart”), was a 2018 GLAAD Media Awards nominee, and was named to Out Magazine’s Out100 in 2017.
