Yeasayer: Spotify U.S. homepage takeover, Sirius XMU Complete Control, BBC Album of the Day + more

Yeasayer’s new album Erotic Reruns is out now and has been met with raves and a number of tremendous spotlights. Today, Spotify is featuring Yeasayer as their homepage takeover in the U.S.

Erotic Reruns distills a decade of twisted, paranoid pop into the Brooklyn band’s most direct, cut-to-the-bone album yet. Over 9 crisp and compact new songs, Yeasayer balance a sardonic and chilling reaction to dark times with moments of warmth and self-reflection. The album was self-produced by the band at their home studios dotted around New York State.

"...sheer experiential pleasure…it's a half-hour bop for the American experiment's gradual decay" -Paste

“Veering between sing-along psych-pop and moments of fuller indulgence…this nine-song follow-up strikes a neat balance between the two” -Clash Magazine

"Rich with addictive charm", 8.5 out of 10 -Line of Best Fit

“There’s just something about Yeasayer’s way of writing music that simply can’t be denied” -Magnetic Magazine

“Quite possibly one of the bubbliest tracks in the Brooklyn trio’s 12-year history…it’s pure joy” -Buzz Bands LA
