Zac Brown Band's "Chicken Fried" Video Premieres on CMT October 20th
NEW YORK – As the Zac Brown Band's "Chicken Fried" quickly gains momentum on radio nationwide, the video premieres on CMT this Monday, October 20. The first single on Zac Brown Band's upcoming album 'The Foundation,' "Chicken Fried" is racing up the Billboard Hot Country charts (#11 this week and #47 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart) and debuted as the second most downloaded country single on iTunes, selling over 115,000 downloads in under 4 weeks.
Directed by actor Clifton Collins Jr., one of Hollywood's most versatile talents (Capote, Traffic), the video captures the essence of this infectiously catchy, foot-stomping anthem and accurately depicts what People Magazine described simply as "a song celebrating those simple pleasures of American life" by spotlighting the band on their home turf in Georgia.
