Zac Brown Band's Massive New Live Production, By the Numbers
Road warriors Zac Brown Band are taking their five-sense concert experience to new heights with a newly-unveiled stage that extends the front row experience to more fans, and the clearest, most up-to-date audio system on the road today. Every aspect of ZBB's performance is curated by the band, from the before show eat-and-greets to the shape of the giant-screen monitors that fill the back of the stage.
As the two-time GRAMMY-Award winners continue to over-deliver for fans on their 2012 tour, their live show becomes an even greater feat to pull off:
• Traveling with 11 53-foot semi tractor trailers full of equipment,
• Weighing in at over 44,000 lbs. for the full production,
• Wielding 48 Martin MLA speakers, 8 Martin MLD speakers & 24 MLX subs,
• Illuminated by 80 Varilite moving fixtures, in addition to 40-50 other moving lights,
• The tour hires 80 local crew members for every show, from loaders and forklift drivers to riggers and stage hands,
• Each man dedicates 20 hours of labor from set-up to breakdown
The result you have to see for yourself. Tune in when the band hosts this year's Academy of Country Music Awards Fan Jam at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas on Sunday, April 1 (airing on CBS).
