Zac Brown Band's Monster 'JEKYLL + HYDE' Tour By The Numbers

Spanning 40 cities with stadium runs including Boston's Fenway Park, New York's Citi Field and Chicago's Wrigley Field, Zac Brown Band is pulling out all the stops for what Rolling Stone aptly dubs the band's "biggest tour to date."

The 'JEKYLL + HYDE' tour has grown even bigger since its kickoff in Nashville, with the band recently adding 4 new US shows, including a second date at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. Full 2015 tour dates here: http://www.zacbrownband.com/shows.html

As the three-time GRAMMY-winners continue to push the boundaries of their five-sense concert experience -- from their pre-show Eat & Greets, to a dazzling new three-level stage -- here's a closer look at what goes into the monster production:

  • 87 songs rehearsed for the tour, including 51 original songs and 36 cover songs to pull from each night -- there were 3 new cover songs added to the band's repertoire specifically for this tour: The Beatles' "Let It Be", Garth Brooks' "The Thunder Rolls", and Bob Marley's "Three Little Birds"
  • Average set time is 3 hours
  • At each stop the set list changes, creating a different concert experience for fans even when playing multiple nights in one city
  • Over 38,000 miles traveled by the end of the tour
  • 300 lights on stage (350 for stadiums)
  • Over 115 instruments on the road: Zac Brown, Coy Bowles and Clay Cook have approximately 25 guitars each. Matt Mangano and John Driskell Hopkins have 19 guitars and an upright bass between the two of them. Daniel de los Reyes and Chris Fryar have at least 40 different types of drums and percussion instruments. There are also multiple keyboards, an organ, a piano, a mandolin, a ukulele, multiple fiddles and a three-piece horn section.
  • 83 crew members on the road -- 94 people total including the band members
  • 90 additional local crew members are hired in each city
  • The envoy is comprised of 8 buses and 16 trucks
  • 4,003 feet of audio cable and 80 speakers are used on stage
  • Over 657,000 tickets sold so far
