Zac Brown Band's Sold Out MSG "Bucket List" Performance

Saturday night’s sold-out show at Madison Square Garden marked a milestone for the Zac Brown Band as they put on a “commanding two-hour set that spanned their catalog of hits and jaw-dropping covers..." (Billboard) and earned a comparison to "an American version of Mumford & Sons," (NY Times). "We have to make a new bucket list after tonight," Brown announced from the stage, marking the band's biggest NYC show to date.

Highlights of the evening included “songs that show[ed] off Mr. Brown’s tender and emotionally tough side” (NY Times) as well as covers of the Charlie Daniels Band’s “The Devil Went Down to Georgia,” Aerosmith’s “Sweet Emotion” and Nirvana’s “All Apologies.”

Prior to last night’s show at NJ’s IZOD Center, the Zac Brown Band hosted a GRAMMY U SoundCheck and mentored a group of aspiring music industry professionals from local colleges. "You need to be focused and always work toward your dream,” said Brown. “People ask me what was plan B. There was no plan B for me. If you keep at it and work as hard as you can, you'll find a way to do it too. It won't be easy but it's possible if you're willing to put in the work. "

Zac Brown Band donated a portion of the proceeds from this weekend's shows to the MusiCares Hurricane Sandy Relief Fund.
