Zac Brown Band's Southern Ground Music & Food Festival Welcomes 15K Fans at Nashville Debut "Zac Brown does indeed know how to throw a party ..." American Songwriter Over 15,000 fans reveled in the Nashville debut of the Southern Ground Music & Food Festival at the Lawn at Riverfront Park this past weekend.  With two stages and an app to help navigate the weekend's events, fans took in music from over two dozen bands including David Gray, Amos Lee, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros, The Lumineers, Southern Ground Artists Nic Cowan, Blackberry Smoke, Levi Lowrey and more.  Each evening was capped off with supersets from Zac Brown Band that included special guest appearances by Gregg Allman, Sheryl Crow, John Mayer, Alan Jackson and Dwight Yoakam.

"The two-stage set-up, alternating between name-brand acts and up-and-comers without the need for huge crowd shifts, was really cool... Top to bottom, it was a really well run, well-executed festival." -Nashville Scene While listening to the music, concert-goers dined at four local gourmet food trucks including Biscuit Love, Riff's Fine Street Food, Bistro Truck and Delta Bound as well as Zac Brown Band's mobile kitchen "Cookie."  Stage Box ticket holders were treated to a three course on-stage meal prepared by Southern Ground Executive Chef Rusty Hamlin and Chefs RJ Cooper (Chef/Owner at Rogue 24, Washington, DC), Matthew Lackey (Chef at Flyte, Nashville, TN), and Bob Waggoner (Chef at Watermark, Nashville, TN).
