(Pasadena, California- February 23rd) Zipangu, presented by Goldenvoice and Cloud Nine, reintroduces itself to U.S. audiences ahead of its highly anticipated debut at Brookside at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena on Saturday, May 16th. Tickets are on sale now and are available HERE.

Making its U.S. debut, Zipangu is a monumental one-day celebration of Japanese music and culture, designed as an immersive experience that extends beyond the stage. In addition to bringing together some of Japan’s most celebrated and internationally ascendant artists for a landmark moment in the global expansion of the country’s contemporary music scene, the event will spotlight elements of Japan’s vibrant street culture, culinary traditions, and creative spirit. A dedicated Yokochofood and beverage experience will evoke the energy of Tokyo’s iconic alleyway dining districts, offering curated Japanese cuisine and drinks, with additional details to be announced.

Headlining the event with a full 60-minute performance is Ado, the chart-topping, boundary-breaking *utaite whose rare live appearances and signature anonymity have captivated fans worldwide. She is joined by ATARASHII GAKKO!, CHANMINA, HANA, MAN WITH A MISSION, Yuki Chiba, and 10-FEET, all performing full-length sets. Together, the lineup represents the cutting edge of Japan’s genre-blurring, visually bold, and creatively fearless music movement. The event has already been recognized as a historic undertaking, with The Hollywood Reporter stating that “the one-day event is slated to be the largest Japanese music event in the U.S.”

"I'm really looking forward to going to LA again,” stated Ado. “Being able to perform in LA along with all these artists at Zipangu is a very new endeavor so I think everyone put a lot of different feelings and hopes into Zipangu and are really looking forward to it. So for me, I will deliver a performance in LA that meets those expectations."

Inspired by a scene shaped alongside anime, manga, film, fashion, and digital culture, Zipangu offers U.S. audiences a rare opportunity to experience the originality, storytelling, and high-impact performance style that define modern Japanese music. With Japanese artists rarely performing at this scale outside their home country, the event creates a powerful new gateway for cultural exchange and fan connection.

Set against the iconic backdrop of Brookside at the Rose BowlZipangu will gather thousands of music lovers for a celebration of Japanese artistry unlike anything previously staged in the United States.
