(New York, NY) Five years after igniting a cultural wave with her explosive major-label debut “Usseewa,” and fresh off completing her second world tour Hibana powered by Crunchyroll, one of the largest global tours by a Japanese artist this year, Ado will headline Zipangu, a monumental new Japanese music event presented by Goldenvoice and Cloud Nine. Taking place at Brookside at the Rose Bowl in Los Angeles on Saturday, May 16, 2026, Zipangu marks a historic cultural milestone: the largest U.S. event ever devoted entirely to Japanese music and artistry.

Joining Ado on the lineup are some of Japan’s most innovative artists, including ATARASHII GAKKO!, CHANMINA, HANA, MAN WITH A MISSION, Yuki Chiba, and 10-FEET — representing the cutting edge of Japan’s bold, genre-blurring music scene. Shaped alongside anime, manga, and digital culture, Zipangu gives U.S. audiences a rare chance to experience contemporary J-Pop and its global influence, making this a historic and unforgettable event.
Ado is no stranger to global stages. Her 2025 Hibana world tour spanned five continents and included 34 shows across Asia, Australia, Europe, North America, and South America, drawing approximately 500,000 fans worldwideand selling out 25 arena dates. Stops included Scotiabank Arena (Toronto), SAP Center (San Jose), Crypto.com Arena (Los Angeles), Dickies Arena (Fort Worth), Kia Center (Orlando), and Prudential Center (Newark) — making Ado the first Japanese artist in history to sell out these prestigious U.S. and Canadian arenas.
The tour also shattered merchandise sales records in 25 venues, marking another milestone in her meteoric global rise. Media outlets including Billboard, DAZED, SPIN, and others covered her acclaimed performances and she was also profiled by The Hollywood Reporter, which hailed her as “Japan’s Biggest Star.”
Ado recently released her new single “MAGIC” and its accompanying music video. The track serves as the opening theme for the new anime CAT’S EYE, now streaming globally on Disney+.
Her collaboration with Round1, the premier U.S. multi-entertainment facility, is also underway. A special Ado collaboration menu is available through December 25 at all 57 Round1 U.S. locations, offering exclusive Ado × Round1 mystery standing coasters with themed menu items.

A 23-year-old Utaite singer, Ado became a household name with her 2020 major-label debut “Usseewa,” which sparked a nationwide cultural phenomenon. Her first album Kyougen and the hit collection UTA’S SONGS ONE PIECE FILM RED, which includes all seven songs she performed for the global smash film, have dominated charts and achieved long-term success.
