AJR’s Adam Met Leads The Charge For Climate Action In CNN’s “Change Amplified: Live Music And The Climate Crisis”

MONDAY, JULY 21 (NEW YORK, NY) - Last night, musician, climate advocate, educator and TIME Earth Award recipient Adam Met, from the multi-platinum band AJR, was featured in “Change Amplified: Live Music And The Climate Crisis” for CNN’s The Whole Story with Anderson Cooper. The primetime appearance comes after the release of Met’s debut book AMPLIFY, which recently landed on the National Bestseller list.

Earlier this summer, Adam released his debut book, AMPLIFY: How to Use the Power of Connection to Engage, Take Action, and Build a Better World via Harmony Books, a division of Penguin Random House. The newly minted National Bestseller blends insights from the music industry with stories from leading change-makers to help readers build momentum behind the causes they care about. Met holds a Ph.D. in human rights and sustainable development and is the founder and executive director of Planet Reimagined, which trains and engages the climate leaders of the future using media and entertainment platforms along with strategic advocacy to mobilize climate action. He also is a professor at Columbia University, where he uses his expertise to teach about climate policy and campaigning.

Last fall, Met was honored with the prestigious TIME Earth Award, which recognizes individuals influencing the future of the planet through their work on climate justice, awareness, and activism.
