Paste Studio Session out today - Watch HERE
April 19, 2024: Alisa Amador has announced a handful of upcoming shows in support of her debut album Multitudes, out June 7 via Thirty Tigers. The Boston-based bilingual singer-songwriter will perform for Carnegie Hall’s Citywide concert series (July 10), Blissfest (July 13), Rocky Mountain Folks Fest (August 9), Arcadia Folk Fest (August 23) and more. Please find all announced upcoming dates below, and stay tuned for album release tour dates to come.
In March, Amador stopped by the Paste Studio during SXSW to perform a few tunes from her debut album, including her recent single “Pasajeras.” Watch her Paste Studio Session HERE.
Amador’s genre-blurring debut record is a bold, captivating self-portrait that serves not only as a testament to how far she has come (she’s performed with everyone from Hozier to Brandi Carlile to Maggie Rogers), but also as a celebration of where she comes from (her roots span Puerto Rico, New Mexico, Argentina, and New England). On Multitudes, Amador effortlessly moves between English and Spanish over top of lush synthesizers, dreamy guitars and cinematic string arrangements. The 12-song collection is co-produced with multi-Grammy nominee Tyler Chester and Daniel Radin and featuring recent Grammy Award winners Gaby Moreno and Madison Cunningham, and fellow NPR Tiny Desk Contest winner Quinn Christopherson.
Amador’s latest single “Love Hate Song” was featured in Rolling Stone’s “Songs You Need To Know” roundup last week. The single was also highlighted by TIDAL RISING and on VEVO’s “ Indie Pop" playlist. Watch the official music video HERE.
