It’s Facebook Official American Family Insurance Installs Guitar Sculpture near Summerfest Marketplace at Mitchell International Airport

What:
American Family Insurance, presenting sponsor of Summerfest, unveiled a new one-of-a-kind guitar structure, which was recently installed in front of the pre-security Summerfest Marketplace at Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport.  This specially branded guitar structure was designed to celebrate music and connect people and places worldwide. 

The new guitar piece is built from a combination of steel and aluminum with painted blocks. The guitar is 58” wide and 109” high and is sure to be a favorite social media selfie opportunity for travelers and visitors to Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport.  The installation reflects the ongoing partnership between Milwaukee World Festival, Inc., Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport, and Paradies Lagardère, the leading airport concessionaire that operates Summerfest Marketplace.

The sculpture features the logo of the new American Family Insurance Amphitheater; the $51.3MM fully renovated music venue is scheduled to host its first concert this summer. 

In conjunction with today’s guitar installation, Summerfest is hosting a sweepstakes on its Facebook page for the chance to win two tickets to the show of their choice at the American Family Insurance Amphitheater during Summerfest 2021.
