Amtrac Releases Synth-Techno Track “Extra Time”

Today, multi-instrumentalist, producer, and songwriter Amtrac releases “Extra Time,” his hypnotic and conceptual track that is the centerpiece for his upcoming project-be sure to stay tuned for more info. This follows his most recent US tour with Bob Moses where he supported them for 22 dates across North America, his collaboration with Diplo and Leon Bridges “High Rise,” and the release of his single “Domino” with collaborator Future Islands Samuel T. Herring.

Previously, Amtrac released his rapid-paced thriller track “Domino” with collaborator Future Islands’ Samuel T Herring, along with a 90’s inspired eccentric video representing a true underdog story. The music video is an eerie take on a work day in a corporate office, calling to mind the aesthetic of the golden era of groundbreaking 90s electronic videos (think Basement Jaxx, Aphex Twin, The Chemical Brothers, Squarepusher, Prodigy) and even a bit of The Twilight Zone. The video for “Domino” is a captivating, thought-provoking and even chill-inducing watch with the message of taking control of your life and finding peace.

The Kentucky-born and Los Angeles-based artist, DJ, producer, remixer, multi-instrumentalist, and founder of Openers made his formal debut onto the scene in 2011 with his acclaimed album Came Along.
