FRIDAY, JUNE 20 - Today, world-renowned tenor Andrea Bocelli released his new single “Polvere e Gloria” (“Dust and Glory”), featuring world No. 1-ranked tennis star, Jannik Sinner via Decca Records / Universal Music. The piece is more than a song: it’s a conversation between generations, between different paths equally driven by passion. You can listen HERE.
In “Polvere e Gloria”, blending Italian and English, Andrea Bocelli lends his warm vocals to solemn verses, while Jannik Sinner delivers meaningful messages on life alongside the tenor’s voice. The song, written by Stephan Moccio, Giovanni Caccamo, Alfredo Rapetti Cheope, Andrea Bocelli, and produced by PPG Pierpaolo Guerrini, is a tribute to the struggle – and the beauty – of life’s journey, to “the fine line that turns dust into glory.”
The evocative music video accompanying the track alternates between never-before-seen private footage from the childhood and adolescence of both stars and current scenes filmed at Andrea Bocelli’s Tuscan home. These images capture the most authentic and intimate dimension of their meeting: among golden fields, meaningful silences, and a setting that smells like home, both appear free of any pretense. You can watch the music video HERE.
“Polvere e Gloria” is the unexpected but perfect encounter of two worlds that share the same code: dedication, authenticity, and love for who they’ve chosen to become.
“‘Dust and Glory’ is a hymn to the value of perseverance and the nobility of hard work that transforms every uncertain step into part of a larger design,” says Bocelli. “Sharing this journey with Jannik was fascinating: we’re from different worlds but close in commitment and discipline in the constant search for authenticity and beauty. And I confess that I have always been his fan, fascinated not only by his talent, but also by his humility and his inner strength."
“I am very honored and happy to be part of this project with Andrea, who for thirty years has been a unique and extraordinary voice, a flag of our country in the world. I could never have imagined hearing my voice in one of his songs, all this is a strong emotion," added Sinner.
With over 90 million records sold worldwide, Andrea Bocelli is the most successful classical artist of all time. His unique voice has transcended genres and generations, performing for four U.S. Presidents, Popes, Royal families, and millions of fans across the globe. A multiple award-winning tenor, Bocelli has graced the world’s most prestigious stages, from the Metropolitan Opera to Wembley Stadium, blending opera, pop, and sacred music in a signature style that has made him a cultural phenomenon.
Jannik Sinner has quickly risen to become one of the brightest stars in world tennis. Achieving a career-high ATP ranking of World No. 1, Sinner is known for his calm demeanor, powerful groundstrokes, and relentless drive on the court.
