Appalachian Christmas Tour "An Absolute Delight"

Grammy-winning violinist and composer Mark O’Connor’s spreading the sounds of the season across the country with his critically acclaimed Appalachian Christmas tour.

He recently talked to Pollstar about the 14-date tour, which critics have called "glorious . . . heavenly" (Associated Press), "elegant" (New York Times) and "an absolute delight" (American Songwriter).

The violinist is joined his wife Maggie, on violin on select dates and his son Forrest on mandolin/vocals in addition to an elite group of musicians including Cia Cherryholmes of bluegrass band Cherryholmes, fiddler/vocalist Carrie Rodriguez, guitarist Joe Smart, and bassist Michael Rinne.
