What initially started as a series of “piano chat”-style viral videos during the pandemic, blossomed into an interactive, hilarious, and emotionally vulnerable live show that got its start at a sold out performance at the legendary Joe’s Pub in NYC a year ago. The new album is a recorded adaptation of the show, and precedes a new fall tour and return performance at Joe’s Pub on October 15th.

Calling to mind the wonder of classic female-hosted variety shows (Cher’s 70s program or the Carol Burnett Show), it’s a hysterical yet moving one-woman show that bridges pop music, stand-up comedy and cabaret to make something healing and singular. Of the new album, Billboard said that Ariana “hilariously walks through heartbreak, while TMRW Magazine called it “a dazzling new concept album that fuses synth-pop with stand-up, soul-searching with strobe lights.

The new album is a perfect portrait of the colorful charm and undeniable talents of Ariana and the Rose, which has already earned her past press love from Vogue, Paper Magazine and Nylon.

The Brooklyn popstar’s 2022 debut album ‘Lonely Hearts Club’ was praised by Billboard who called it “a siren call to the club” and People who described it as “an impressive dance LP that her foremothers (like Madonna, Robyn and Kylie Minogue) would be proud of.”

From making downtown chic street pop, to curating her own immersive art & music party residency in Brooklyn, to touring all over the country, performing at the Orlando Fringe Festival, making her late night tv debut, and more, Ariana and the Rose has become a force to be reckoned with.
