Today, NYC's "provocative and empowering" (PopDust) Ariana and the Rose debuts the Roosevelt remix of the million+ streamed single "Love You Lately," via Kitsune Hot Stream. Originally a collaboration between Ariana and LA-based R&B/electro duo RKCB, which Vice Noisey noted "captures the sting of relationship disintegration," the Roosevelt remix gives the gorgeously somber bop a warmer interpretation with island guitars, siren synths and a summertime club beat.
"I'm so excited to be releasing this rework of "Love You Lately" in partnership with Kitsune!," says Ariana. "Roosevelt's spin on the song is the perfect vibe for festival season.
Hosted on all streaming platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer, YouTube and many more, Kitsuné Hot Stream combines music and visual art, showcasing a new generation of emerging talents. Every week, Kitsuné Hot Stream offers fresh new musical discoveries highlighted by artworks created every month by different visual artists (illustrators, photographers, painters, etc.) Our goal: mixing the worlds of music and design for a unique experience.
The "Love You Lately" Kistune artwork features the graphic design of Leslie David.
Ariana and the Rose is also in the middle of curating and performing in her own galactic immersive live music party in Brooklyn called light + space. The first event of her "Trilogy" series took place on April 26th to a packed and glittered crowd at Bushwick's renowned performance arts space House of YES. Ariana has currently signed on with the venue for a three-event residency which combines interactive characters, a glitter bar to get attendees "cosmic-ready," a VR experience, special DJ collaborations and a performance by Ariana and the Rose herself to create a celestial, avant-garde celebration that feels like a space-age Studio 54.
