Baby Shark Live Roots On Washington Nationals’ Historic World Series Run With The Announcement Of The Viral Sensation’s New Musical Adventure’s Summer Performances At The National Theatre

 

Pinkfong and Round Room Live are proud to announce that Baby Shark Live!, the brand new, fully immersive concert experience will head to the National Theatre on June 5 – 7, 2020. The viral sensation will play 3 performances in Washington, DC. The announcement comes as The Washington Nationals travel to Houston, TX to play in Tuesday’s Game 6 of the 2019 World Series.

The viral song and dance sensation first came into Nationals Park four months ago when Outfielder Gerardo Parra made it his walk-up song. “Baby Shark” has now become an unofficial anthem for The Nationals’ 2019 season.  

“We’re thrilled to bring Baby Shark Live to families in DC,” says Stephen Shaw (the tour’s producer and co-president of Round Room Live). “There’s an electricity in DC right now and Baby Shark Live wants to celebrate the Nats exciting season.”

Baby Shark Live! is currently playing to excited audiences in theaters across the country. The fall tour leg began in Spartanburg, SC and will continue on to play markets including New York, Boston and Chicago before wrapping on Sunday, November 10 in Philadelphia. 

Additional shows will be announced at a future date. Baby Shark Live! is slated to visit more than 100 U.S. and Canadian markets through 2020.

The live show is based on Pinkfong’s viral earworm and global dance phenomenon, Baby Shark. Fans of all ages will delight as Baby Shark joins up with his friend Pinkfong to take an adventure into the sea, singing and dancing through new and classic songs including Five Little Monkeys, Wheels on the Bus, Jungle Boogie, Monkey Banana Dance and of course, Baby Shark! 

Baby Shark, Pinkfong’s global hit song about a family of sharks, has climbed the charts and connected with fans around the globe. After entering the Billboard Hot 100 at #32, the song has had a 17-week streak in the Top 50 while topping the Kids Digital Song Sales Chart. The Baby Shark Dance video has over 3.7 billion views, making it the 5th most viewed video in the history of YouTube.
