Brandi Carlile returns To Billboard Top 10 With Highest Debut And Best Album Sales Week Ever For 'The Firewatcher's Daughter' (ATO)

Brandi Carlile's independent label debut - 'The Firewatcher's Daughter,' released last week on ATO Records - has earned the best first-week sales and highest chart debut of her career, opening at #9 on the Billboard 200 and at #1 on the Independent Albums (Soundscan) chart.

Today she also announces her biggest NYC headlining show to date: she will perform at Radio City Music Hall on Friday, October 9.

She celebrates her album release with a special Brooklyn club show tonight at Music Hall of Williamsburg, and a single performance at SXSW next week on March 18, a Pin Drop (no amplification) show at Central Presbyterian Church. Her headlining tour includes several sold out shows this month plus stops at Bonnaroo and at Red Rocks, where she's headlining on August 15th.
