Today (9.1), country up-and-comer Brandon Davis, who has built a grassroots following by performing multiple sold out shows across the country over the past 3 years, shares ‘Life’s Too Short,’ an inspirational 17-track album that reminds listeners to live a life without regrets and appreciate every moment, good and bad, that comes along.

“I was truly inspired by the 90’s country I grew up on for this one,” says Davis. “When I first heard this line, all I could picture was everyone gathering around their best friend's funeral and listening to the final words of wisdom from a man who knew how to live life to the fullest. In the song, the man has left a list of things for everyone to do before their time comes. It’s somber and serious until his true personality comes through as he adds down at the bottom, ‘PS.. life’s too short to drive a Ford.’ ‘Life’s Too Short’ is a fun, catchy song that brings light to a dark time in people’s lives and is sure to unite Chevy lovers everywhere!”

Davis wrote/co-wrote the entire album alongside songwriters that have also written for artists including Reba McEntire, Trisha Yearwood, Jon Pardi and even Lady Gaga. Across the 17 songs, he pays tribute to his greatest country inspirations from the ‘70s through the early ‘00s, infusing a modern life into classic sounds. The album approaches themes including appreciating the little things in love (“Pretty”), coming to terms with heartbreak (“Still Gonna Be,” “Leave It To Love”), formative childhood memories (“Mixtaping The Radio”), mortality (“Life’s Too Short”), faith (“Six Strings and Jesus”), living without regrets (“Pray Like Hell”) and more.

Davis will share the official video for "Nobody Cares" at 12 PM CT today.

“Life’s too short” is a sentiment that is especially prevalent in Davis’ life, as it was the reminder and motivation he needed to chase his music dreams after a devastating car accident almost took his life.

Through candid, impromptu singing challenge videos that went viral on social media, Davis’ loyal fan base continues to grow, and he has amassed more than 3 million followers as a result. He signed with Big Yellow Dog Music in 2021, and last year, he was hand-selected by Tim McGraw for McGraw’s 2022 tour, where he won the hearts of country music fans who gravitated towards his slice-of-life explorations of the human condition.

He’s currently on tour through the end of 2023 with shows in Pennsylvania, Missouri, Illinois, Texas and more. For more information on Brandon Davis and upcoming shows, visit brandondavismusic.com.
