C2C Festival NYC Expands Inaugural Lineup, Announces Second Wave Of Artists

February 20, 2025 - On Friday, May 9th, for the first time in its 23-year history, C2C Festival will bring a world of music to its inaugural US event. Taking over all of Knockdown Center, and co-presented by MATTE, C2C Festival NYC has curated a lineup that highlights the best of electronic, jazz, pop, rap and beyond, including Oneohtrix Point Never, Nala Sinephro, Two Shell, evilgiane and John Glacier.

Today C2C Festival NYC welcomes a new wave of artists to its lineup, featuring Jlin, Kode9, Nick León (Live), Dave P (Making Time XXV Set) and Devon Turnbull / Ojas. Across multiple stages at Knockdown Center, the program highlights C2C Festival's long-standing commitment to cross-genre aesthetic, culminating in Oneohtrix Point Never's Again², with live puppetry and video by Freeka Tet.

Since the early 2000s, Italy's C2C Festival has showcased some of the most adventurous artists in contemporary music, growing from being one of Europe's preeminent dance destinations into an international celebration of excellence and experimentation, to now the "ne-plus-ultra festival of avant-garde eclecticism" (Pitchfork). Each iteration is defined by a bold approach to recontextualizing music and art, by way of boundary-pushing performances in unique environments and a location like Knockdown Center.

About Knockdown Center

Featuring programming of diverse formats and media, Knockdown Center aims to create a radically cross-disciplinary environment. The particularity of our architectural environment and history leads us to gravitate toward projects that demonstrate a sensitive reactivity to site and environment. This 50,000 square-foot building has seen continuous use for more than 100 years: first as the Gleason-Tiebout glass factory, then as Manhattan Door factory. It is named for the Knock-Down door frame that was invented here in 1956 by Samuel Sklar and remains an industry standard to this day. The frame could be shipped in pieces — or "knocked down" — and installed into existing walls, revolutionizing the speed and efficiency of building construction. The factory has since remained in the Sklar family and is again a site for innovation. Having undergone a renovation that is equal parts preservationist and state of the art, Knockdown Center now produces and hosts cultural events and exhibitions that respond to its unique architecture and dimensions.
