Capitol Theatre Adds Historic 9th Night With Further April 15

After selling out 8 nights at the Capitol Theatre in roughly 48 hours, Furthur, featuring Phil Lesh and Bob Weir, have announced an historic 9th show on April 15. The 9-night run will mark Futhur's longest consecutive run of shows in a single venue, and will tie the Grateful Dead's record for longest consecutive run on the East Coast. Tickets are onsale now at http://www.thecapitoltheatre.com and http://www.furthur.net

The Grateful Dead considered the Port Chester, NY, rock palace one of their favorite venues, playing there 18 times in 1970-71 alone. Jerry Garcia once said, "There's only two theaters that are set up pretty groovy all around for music – The Fillmore East and the Capitol Theatre."

Furthur will perform April 15, 16, 17, 19, 20, 21, 23, 24, and 25.
