February 4, 2021 – Bringing its immersive cruise festivals to livestream for the first time, Cayamo presents Cayalmost In-The-Round via Mandolin, a digital platform designed to connect artists, venues, and fans through live music. This special virtual edition concert will air on Friday, February 26, at 7 PM EST, featuring an all-star line-up, including Paul Thorn, Tommy Emmanuel, Molly Tuttle, and Steve Poltz.
Cayamo, a Sixthman brand, will bring to life the unique sounds of Folk and Americana music through rare artist collaborations like never before with this exclusive livestream experience. Fans can log on to enjoy the performance streaming live from the iconic City Winery in Nashville.
For those craving to indulge their senses, ticket bundle options include adding a bottle of Cayalmost Red Blend as a keepsake to commemorate the virtual festivities. Reminiscent of cookies and spiked hot cocoa, this 2019 blend of Washington fruit lifts your spirits with aromas of Kirsch cherry liquor and baking spices. The wine is medium bodied, with hints of blackberry, cherry, oak and tobacco, firm tannins, and a light vanilla finish.
Many refer to Cayamo as A Journey Through Song. In looking forward to Cayalmost and recalling his previous voyages, artist Tommy Emmanuel notes, “There are so many things I love about Cayamo. I think collaborating with other artists who I rarely get to see is probably one of my favorite things. Just on one cruise, I got to perform with Kasey Chambers, Molly Tuttle, Jerry Douglas, Paul Thorn, Carlene Carter, Buddy Miller, Shawn Mullins, Jason Isbell, and Amanda Shires. I don’t get to do things like that anywhere else. It’s very special for me, and I think it’s special for the audience too."
“We’re excited about the opportunity to help Sixthman and Cayamo re-connect with their dedicated fanbase,” said Larry Murray, Director of Artist Services at Mandolin. “We really want to bring forward the immersive experience that Sixthman does so well and curate an intimate atmosphere with stellar performances and unique artist collaborations.”
Trae Vedder of Sixthman adds, “Cayamo has always been a special place for songwriters and song listeners to come together as one at sea. While we can’t be together aboard the big boat this year, we’re excited about this opportunity to make music, memories, and friends together on screen -- with Paul, Tommy, Molly, and Steve, and with all the wonderful folks tuning in. Cheers to our beloved Cayamo community of music lovers and a big hello and welcome to those joining our family for the first time virtually, we look forward to sea’ing you there!”
Tickets for the event are on sale now at www.mandolin.com starting at $20 with merchandise bundles including the aforementioned wine keepsake. The commemorative wine retails for $35.00 plus shipping and can be purchased here. Shipping is free with the purchase of six or more bottles.
