Charlotte OC To Release New 'Strange' EP September 2 On Harvest Records; Confirms First NYC Show At Slipper Room (9/11) And Second LA Show For School Night At Bardot (9/08)

On September 2, Blackburn, UK's Charlotte OC will release her new 'Strange' EP on Harvest Records comprised of four original songs including the recently recorded track "Strange" produced by Tim Anderson (Solange, Sia). Fader premiered the new music video for "Strange" directed by Georgia Hudson (Midlake, Klaxons), calling it "hair-raisingly beautiful." Watch it here.

Charlotte OC has also confirmed additional dates as part of her U.S debut shows, including LA's School Night at Bardot (Sept. 08) and her first New York show at the Slipper Room (Sept. 11). The first tracks from the 'Strange' EP released individually online earned rave reviews, with Complex calling them "powerful" and SPIN saying Charlotte "channels the bewitching allure of Stevie Nicks and the big-throated finesse of Alicia Keys." New song "Strange" picks up where these early tracks left off, with Charlotte's "massive voice" (Elle) soulfully delivering lovelorn lyrics amid Tim Anderson's minimalist production.
