Listen to the Anthemic Title Track, Available Now Here
Last month, one of Music City’s buzziest newcomers, Chase Matthew, made his long-awaited Grand Ole Opry debut, and today (4.7), the Nashville native announces his forthcoming sophomore album, ‘Come Get Your Memory.’ Arriving June 9 (via Warner Music Nashville) and available for pre-order now, the eclectic 25-track project serves as the highly-anticipated follow-up to Matthew’s breakout 2022 debut, ‘Born For This.’
“This is the biggest project I’ve put out so far, but my fans needed this,” Matthew says. “There’s something for everyone on this album – a few drinking songs, a handful of heartbreaks, some dancing jams, and my personal favorites: a couple that hit really close to home. When I say ‘home,’ I’m talking about the way I grew up, where I grew up, and everything it took to get me here today. I hope this album is as inspiring to you as creating it was for me… Come get your memories from this album – and maybe make some new ones along the way!”
Marking his debut album under Warner Music Nashville, the packed-out project offers an in-depth dive into every corner of the viral country riser’s musical appeal, with each song peeling back a new layer of Matthew’s signature sound – and the album’s heavy-hitting title track, which is available today (4.7) here, is no exception.

While the collection is chock-full of rock-driven, sizzling anthems including “Make a Memory,” “Moonlight,” and his previously-released streaming smash, “Love You Again,” along with backwoods-inspired, party-starting singalongs like “Where There’s Smoke” and “Outlaw Gospel,” it’s just as poignant as it is energetic. From the tearfully thought-provoking “Do All Dogs Go To Heaven” to the reflective look at his career journey thus far in “Saw Me Here,” the buzz-worthy newcomer reveals his rarely-seen softer side in his most vulnerable tracks to date. It’s real, raw and authentically Matthew, as he had a hand in penning nearly every track on the project.
Matthew is sure to preview songs from ‘Come Get Your Memory’ live on the road, as he’s currently hitting stages across the nation on his headline 'Love You Again Tour.’ He’s also set to perform on the CMA Fest Riverfront Stage on Sun., June 11 and has lined up other festival appearances at Rock The South, Country Thunder, and more through the fall.
