The partnership signals Chordal’s continuing strength in the indie music space, and accompanies the news today of eight additional music companies coming on board to Chordal. The other companies joining today’s announcement are Red Bull Records, Nice Life, Phoenix Music International, Jazz is Dead, Unity Group, Pravda Records, San Juan Music Group, and In Real Life. This announcement continues the strong momentum behind Chordal’s mission to modernize sync licensing and make it faster, more transparent, and more equitable for all rights holders. Futures and the other new signings add to a growing roster of leading independent and major-affiliated rights holders already using Chordal, including two of Chordal’s biggest deals to date with Kobalt Music Publishing – marking the first time Kobalt has fully integrated with a third-party platform to power its global sync operations – and TikTok, which integrated Chordal’s patent-pending pre-clearance InstantClear™ technology into TikTok’s Commercial Music Library to help artists, publishers, and labels monetize music more easily in branded content.
