Today (5.29), rising Country artist Cole Goodwin announces his forthcoming ‘Howdy’ EP, available on June 26 via Big Machine Records, and shares his new song “Girl That’s How." On “Girl That’s How,” Goodwin beckons romance with the kind of love language only a country boy knows. Set to a scene of front porch swinging, sweet tea sipping, parking lot kisses and sunset views from a truck bed, “Girl That’s How” details the sweet simplicity of falling in love.

“‘Girl That’s How’ is an easy listening “good ole boy” song that takes me back to my high school and college days spent riding around in my truck,” says Goodwin. “This song feels like home, and I’m eager for everybody to hear it."
Praised by Holler as an “old school country crooner” (Holler), Goodwin’s ‘Howdy’ EP finds the Georgia native shaping a sound that calls back to the spirit of classic country storytelling. The EP will feature the newly released “Girl That’s How,” his previously released pickup-line honky-tonker “Howdy” and heartbreak ballad “Where She’s Coming From,” as well as unreleased tracks “Call Me Colorado” and “Keep On Rainin’.”
Written by Kevin Denney, Tom Botkin and Mike Rogers, and produced by Ryan Youmans, “Girl That’s How” features Goodwin’s unmistakably timeless twang, accompanied by dancefloor fiddles and guitar rhythms. Steeped in nostalgic storytelling, the song drops listeners into a Mayberry-esque small-town love scene.
