Comedy Dynamics Films Six Iconic Original Stand-Up Specials

LOS ANGELES, CA –Comedy Dynamics filmed six new stand-up specials from comedy icons Louie Anderson, Tom Arnold, Rita Rudner, Darrell Hammond, Paul Rodriguez, and Michael Winslow & Jimmie Walker.

The six specials were filmed at the Palace Theater in downtown Los Angeles, and spotlight a legendary line-up of stand-up comedy legends including Louie Anderson, Tom Arnold, Rita Rudner, Darrell Hammond, Paul Rodriguez, and Michael Winslow & Jimmie Walker. Two shows per night were filmed back-to-back in front of a packed audience.

Named one of the 100 Greatest Stand-Up Comedians of All Time by Comedy Central, Louie Anderson has been performing for sold-out crowds for nearly a quarter of a century. In addition to his Emmy-winning role in FX’s Baskets, Louie has hosted the hit series Family Feud, created the two-time Emmy Award-winning FOX series Life With Louie, and has starred in his own HBO and Showtime comedy specials.

Writer, producer and actor Tom Arnold has starred in films such as Nine Months, True Lies, Hero, Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery and many more. He wrote and served as executive producer on the highly successful television series Roseanne and starred in his own HBO special Tom Arnold: The Naked Truth. He hosted FOX Sports Network’s Best Damn Sports Show Periodand CMT’s My Big Redneck Wedding and My Big Redneck Vacation.

Rita Rudner began her career in stand-up in the 1980s, frequently appearing on Late Night with David Letterman, The Tonight Show, and shows hosted by Bill Maher, Bob Hope, Oprah Winfrey, Regis Philbin and more. She has multiple critically-acclaimed comedy specials, as well as her PBS special Live from Las Vegas. Rita has the longest-running one-person comedy show in Las Vegas history.

Actor and comedian Darrell Hammond was Saturday Night Live’s longest-running cast member from 1995 to 2009, where he was known for his numerous celebrity impressions. Darrell has appeared on Broadway, on television on The Howard Stern Show, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Damages, Criminal Minds and has his own stand-up special on Comedy Central: Comedy Central Presents Darrell Hammond.

One of the most influential Hispanic comedians today, Paul Rodriguez has appeared in countless movies and television shows over the years, from The Original Latin Kings of Comedyto Blood Work with Clint Eastwood, Rat Race, Ali and more. He was named one of Comedy Central’s 100 Greatest Stand-Up Comedians of All Time, and is also known for his humanitarian work.

Known as The Man of 10,000 Sound Effects, Michael Winslow has appeared in countless roles in Hollywood, from the Police Academy films, to Mel Brooks’ Spaceballs and even hosted his own show Way Back Wednesday with Winslow on WGN. Most recently, Michael lent his voice to numerous mobile games, a national ad campaign for Geico and more. Michael continues to perform his comedy variety show across the globe.

Jimmie Walker has a successful career in Hollywood for over four decades. After receiving a Golden Globe nomination for his role in CBS’s Good Times, Jimmie would go on to star in Let’s Do It Again, Airplane, The Comedian with Robert DeNiro and make numerous appearances on Late Night with David Letterman, Everybody Hates Chris, The George Lopez Show, and many more. He was named Time Magazine’s Comedian of the Decade for the 1970’s.
