Comedy Dynamics Partners With Tribeca To Release 10 Stand-Up Comedy Specials Across Multiple Streaming Platforms

LOS ANGELES, CA – Comedy Dynamics has partnered with Tribeca to distribute 10 stand-up comedy specials, directed by Brian Volk-Weiss, that were filmed live from the acclaimed Tribeca Festival in the Summer of 2021. Comedy Dynamics, the world’s largest independent stand-up comedy production company will release the specials digitally through their hybrid distribution network consisting of Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, Spectrum, YouTube, and more starting May 24th. The albums will be released on Apple Music, Amazon Music, Spotify, Pandora and more for streaming and purchase starting May 27th.

“We’re proud to be working with the wonderful team at Tribeca to showcase some truly outstanding comedians in this diverse lineup of specials dropping this Summer,” said Brian Volk-Weiss, Founder and CEO of Comedy Dynamics.

The slate of specials include; Bill Bellamy: I Want My Life Back, Helen Hong: Well Hong, Cocoa Brown: Famous Enough, Maija DiGiorgio: Maija! Maija! Maija!, Jackie Fabulous: Menoplause, Steven Michael Quezada: The New Mexican, Miz Cracker: Here I Stand, Katrina Davis: Figuring It Out, Josh Gondelman: People Pleaser and Kellen Erskine: Zoomed Out. 

Bill Bellamy is an acclaimed actor and stand-up comedian known for HBO’s Russell Simmons’ Def Comedy Jam, MTV Jams, HBO’s Insecure, MTV Beach House, Last Comic Standing and more. Bill was also a recurring host on The Rachael Ray Show, hosted the ESPY Red Carpet for Entertainment Tonight, and was a part-time host for Access Hollywood

Helen Hong is a comedian, actress, podcaster and TV host known to be a fan favorite on the hit NPR podcast, Wait Wait Don’t Tell Me. She was a recurring character on HBO’s Silicon Valley, CBS’ The Unicorn and Netflix’s Huge In France. She’s performed stand-up on The Arsenio Hall Show, Last Call with Carson Daly, Comics Unleashed and the Just For Laughs comedy festival in Montreal. Helen has also appeared in Inside Llewyn Davis, Pretty Little Liars, Jane The Virgin and Parks and Recreation. 

Josh Gondelman is an Emmy Award nominated writer and comedian known for his work on Showtime’s Desus and Mero and Last Week Tonight with John Oliver. Amongst writing credits, Josh has performed stand-up comedy on Late Night with Seth Meyers, The Late Late Show with James Corden and Conan. 

Cocoa Brown is an actress and comedian whose credits include Tyler Perry’s critically acclaimed comedy series For Better Or For Worse on Oprah Winfrey’s OWN Network. She has also graced the stage as a stand-up comedian for BET’s Comic View, Showtime at the Apollo and One Mic Stand. 

Miz Cracker is a New York City drag queen, writer and comedian best known as a fan favorite in season 10 of RuPaul’s Drag Race and season 5 of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars. With over 1.5 million followers across her social media accounts, she tours the world with her one-woman shows and hosts an interview podcast titled She’s A Woman, while being a consistent advocate for women’s rights and marriage equality.  

Maija DiGiorgio was recognized by New York’s Time Out Magazine as one of the “Freshest, Funniest and unique voices to grace the microphone,”. Majia has been featured on HBO’s Def Comedy Jam, Hot 97, HBO’s Sex and the City, NBC’s Comics Unleashed, Fox’s Laughs, NBC’s Live from The Apollo, Uncontrolled Comedy Tour and more. The New York Daily News warns “Don’t miss Maija!”

Jackie Fabulous captured America’s heart as a semi-finalist on the 2019 season of America’s Got Talent. She is a stand-up comedian, writer, actor, producer, and motivational speaker who has been featured on The Arsenio Hall Show, Kevin Hart’s LOL Network, Last Comic Standing, Gotham Comedy Live and more. In addition to her television work, Jackie has headlined some of the top comedy clubs in the country, including The Laugh Factory. The Comedy and Magic Club, The Comedy Cellar, The Hollywood Improv, Funny Bone and more. 

Steven Michael Quezada is an actor and comedian best known as agent Steven Gomez on the acclaimed AMC series, Breaking Bad from 2008 to 2013. Steven has also appeared in First Snow, Beerfest, 3 From Hell, Better Call Saul, the new Magnum P.I. and more. Steven tours the country performing stand-up comedy, winning the New Mexico Hispanic Entertainer’s Association ‘Comedian of the Year’ award 5 times. Steven has also been featured on HBO, Showtime, The Arsenio Hall Show and more. 

Katrina Davis is a fun-loving comedian with a dark, but ultimately freeing and funny take on the world. She is the host of the Fireside Live show and The Best Friends Show podcasts. She’s also been featured in Time Out LA’s Comedians To Watch in 2019. 

Kellen Erskine has appeared on Conan, Comedy Central, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, NBC’s America’s Got Talent and Inside Jokes. Kellen has garnered over 5o million views with his clips on Dry Bar Comedy and in 2018 he was selected to perform at the Just for Laughs comedy festival in Montreal. In 2017, Kellen was named one of TBS’ Top Ten Comics To Watch. 

The specials were directed by Brian Volk-Weiss, who also served as executive producer alongside Cisco Henson, with Davina Dobrovech serving as line producer.
