This year, Tashian has already made his mark. He co-produced former Beatles member and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Ringo Starr’s ‘Look Up’ (1.10) album, as well as co-writing the album’s “Time On My Hands.” Tashian had the honor of performing with Ringo Starr during his back-to-back sold out Ryman shows earlier this month. Additionally, he received GRAMMY nominations for his work on Kacey Musgraves’ ‘Deeper Well’ (Best Country Album + Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical) and Sarah Jarosz’ ‘Polaroid Lovers’ (Best Americana Album).

Tashian, who launched his first-ever children’s project in 2019 with the GRAMMY-nominated album ‘I Love Rainy Days,’ released his new album ‘Family Vacation’ on January 17th. The 10-song record features his daughters Matilda and Tinkerbell with artwork designed by his wife Lillie Fish. Listen to the full album, here: stem.ffm.to/familyvacation

“Every time I get to make music with my girls it’s incredibly special,” Tashian says of ‘Family Vacation.’ “Matilda and Tinkerbell gave so much to this album and made it what it is. Their love of music shines through on these songs.”

He also re-released his 2018 solo record ‘Some Other Country’ on January 10th, which is named after the descriptor that legendary producer T-Bone Burnett (Elton John, Elvis Costello, Roy Orbison) bestowed on Tashian’s sound at the time. Listen here: stem.ffm.to/someothercountry

Most recently, Tashian co-produced “Northern Lights,” featured on Teddy Swims’ highly lauded new album ‘I've Tried Everything But Therapy Pt. 2’ (1.24).
