David Lindley, Ana Popovic, And Cindy Cashdollar Tear Up The Fretboards At The Iridium In April

The Diva Jazz Orchestra, Brianna Thomas, And Four Generations Of Miles Kick Off Swinging Spring

The Iridium's dual heritages are on full display this April, as the club welcomes some of the world's most celebrated guitarists and jazz musicians to the House that Les Built. See below for just a few of the highlights:

4/3: Keystone Korner Nights Presents The Diva Jazz Orchestra – Voted one of the best big bands in the world in both DownBeat magazine’s annual Critics' and Readers' Polls, Sherrie Maricle & The Diva Jazz Orchestra—the phenomenal and hard-swinging, 15-piece, all-women jazz big band—kick off their 20th Anniversary with an explosive show as part of the new Todd Barkan Presents Keystone Korner Nights at The Iridium series.

4/17 & 4/19: Ana Popovic – Serbian-born Ana Popovic, one of the most lauded blues guitarists on the circuit, has turned heads at festivals around the world, shared stages with Buddy Guy, BB King and Taj Mahal, and been nominated for a total of four Blues Music Awards. She moved to Memphis to capture its greasy Stax sound and record at Ardent Studios with some of the city's finest musicians for her new LP, 'Can You Stand The Heat' (out 4/16).

4/21: Keystone Korner Nights Presents Brianna Thomas & Friends – The Wall Street Journal said Brianna Thomas "may well be the best young straight-ahead jazz singer of her generation." Thomas, who has performed with legends like Clark Terry and Wycliffe Gordon, recently shared the stage with Wynton Marsalis as part of his "Meet Me At The Crossroads" lecture series at Harvard University.

4/22: Cindy Cashdollar w/ The Les Paul Trio – Austin-based Dobro and steel guitarist Cindy Cashdollar has worked with everyone from Bob Dylan and Van Morrison to Willie Nelson and Levon Helm in addition to earning five Grammy awards during her near-decade with Asleep at the Wheel. She'll sit in with the Les Paul Trio for a one-night only collaboration.

4/24-27: Four Generations of Miles feat. Jimmy Cobb, Sonny Fortune, Buster Williams and Mike Stern - One of the towering figures in the history of jazz, Miles Davis was an innovative genius with an unmistakable style and unmatched musical range. Some of today's most celebrated jazz talents gather to celebrate his memory.

4/29: David Lindley - Multi-instrumentalist David Lindley performs music that redefines the word 'eclectic.' Lindley, well-known for his many years as the featured accompanist with Jackson Browne and leader of his own band El Rayo-X, has long championed the concept of world music. Lindley effortlessly combines American folk, blues, and bluegrass traditions with elements from African, Arabic, Asian, Celtic, Malagasy, and Turkish musical sources.
