Punk legend Cheetah Chrome - co-founder of CBGB stalwarts The Dead Boys, and more recently Nashville's Plowboy Records, will perform two full-band sets at this year’s CBGB Festival, including the Carry On Band series, a night with other first generation CBGB luminaries including Lydia Lunch, Lenny Kaye, Richard Lloyd, Ivan Kral and Syl Sylvain.
At both shows, Chrome and his band will play songs from his first-ever studio collection of solo material, culled from unreleased 1996 and 2010 sessions, and other songs. The 7-song EP, ‘Solo,’ will be released 10/8 on Plowboy Records.
Chrome will be joined by Enzo Penizotto (The Blackhearts) on bass, Pete Marshall (Iggy Pop) on guitar, and Frank Ferrer (Guns n Roses) on drums.
