Diane Warren’s Debut Album ‘Diane Warren: The Cave Sessions Vol. 1’ Out Now

LOS ANGELES, CA (August 27, 2021) -- Today, songwriting legend Diane Warren unveils her debut album ‘Diane Warren: The Cave Sessions Vol. 1’ via DI-NAMIC RECORDS/BMG. Also out today is the new single & music video “Seaside”. A collaboration with global superstar Rita Ora, award-winning Mexican recording artist Sofía Reyes and Mexican pop band REIK, “Seaside” finds each artist adding their own unique flavor to the song, while the music video infuses a dynamic visual element to the Latinx-focused track.

The collection of 15 new original songs on ‘Diane Warren: The Cave Sessions Vol. 1’ features some of the biggest worldwide artists, including Ty Dolla $ign, Maren Morris, John Legend, Luis Fonsi, Jon Batiste, Pentatonix, G-Eazy, Carlos Santana, Rita Ora, Sofía Reyes, REIK, James Arthur, Lauren Jauregui, Jimmie Allen, LP, Celine Dion, Darius Rucker, Paloma Faith, Leona Lewis and James Morrison. 

“I am so excited to release this album which is like a microcosm of my career – writing songs in all kinds of genres of music for a wide range of amazing artists, many of whom I am thrilled to be working with for the first time and others with whom I’ve been delighted to work with before. I just love writing songs that reach across all genres...each song is like casting a role in a movie. But in the end, I always leave it up to the artist and how they want to do it,” says Diane Warren. 

“I wrote ‘Seaside’ this last year when the world was closed and I feel it’s the perfect song for right now as the world is gradually opening up. I had worked with Rita Ora before and thought she’d be great to pair with Sofía Reyes—both of whom are such talented artists. Then we put REIK on it, which sounds so great. The combination of them all adds so much energy to this song, so you have three worlds in one song, and I love how it came out. They all really complement each other in such a beautiful way. If you can't get to the Seaside, there are no better artists to bring the Seaside to you!” added Warren. 

“I’ve had the privilege of working with Diane Warren on the Oscar-nominated song ‘Grateful,’ and it was such an honour to be asked to collaborate again on ‘Seaside,’” says Rita Ora. “I love this track, it gave me the chance to reunite with Sofía Reyes, who I adore and it’s got such a great summer feel to it. I just love the way that myself, Sofía and REIK all vibe off one another. This is definitely one of my favourite collabs I’ve done."

This song has made me reconnect with great friends like Rita, who I really believe is a huge artist with a lot of power, and also gave me the opportunity to collaborate for the first time with REIK, who is for me one of the best bands in Mexico. I grew up listening to them and to think that now we will sing together is incredible! Plus, it was a privilege to write my Spanish part!”

The new single and music video follows “She’s Fire,” the infectious collaboration with G-Eazy and Carlos Santana.
