Today (12.01), Kentucky-bred troubadour Dillon Carmichael announces a four-track project titled ‘Where I Grew Up,’ out December 8 via Riser House Records (available for pre-save HERE). All co-written by Carmichael, each track showcases the raw, deep-holler twang that led to Rolling Stone to dub him “country music’s most convincing young star since Stapleton.”
Two of the tracks, "Where I Grew Up" and "Dog, God, and You," are available today (12.1), including the blue-collar-inspired title track that pays homage to his hometown life -- and the thoughtful ode to life's three constants, “Dog, God, and You.”

“I know a lot of artists are releasing Christmas songs right now, but we wanted to switch it up this year with our own little gift to fans ahead of the holidays,” says Carmichael.“These are four of my favorite songs I’ve ever written. I poured my heart and soul into each of these tracks, and I just hope fans enjoy listening to them as much as I enjoyed writing them. We wouldn’t be able to release this music without the never-ending support from my fans, so this project is all for them.”
Carmichael is currently climbing the country radio charts with his Jon Pardi-produced single “Drinkin’ Problems,” and fans can hear these songs and more live in the new year when Carmichael opens select dates on Cody Johnson’s ‘The Leather Tour.' He also has a run as direct support on the European leg of Pardi’s ‘Mr. Saturday Night Tour.’ TFor tickets and more information, please visit dilloncarmichael.com.
