Dillon Carmichael Teams Up with Drew Parker, Tyler Booth for Rowdy "Rollin' Stone"

Current Single, "Son of A," Continues to Climb Country Radio Charts

Riser House Records' Dillon Carmichael is "just a chip off the old "Rollin' Stone" in his latest rowdy tune with Drew Parker and Tyler Booth — out today (5.6). Written by Carmichael and Booth alongside Phil O'Donnell and Houston Phillips, the '90s country-inspired singalong of the summer finds the trio of "road dog gypsies" with the pedal to the floor, unwilling to be tied down.

"I've been fans of Drew and Tyler for a long time now," Carmichael explains. "What better features for 'Rollin' Stone' than a couple 'ol chips off of it! Such a pleasure working with these guys. I can't wait to see 'what the future holds for this tune!"

"This song is a true story," Booth adds. "Dillon and I wrote it, and it's basically about how the Apple doesn't fall too far from the tree. I'm betting a lot of people can relate to that. When Dillon asked me to sing on it, I was really excited because he's one of the best singers I've heard in a long time — honestly, he and Drew have two of my favorite voices in Nashville these days."

"The second I was asked to feature on 'Rollin' Stone,' I immediately said yes," Parker continues. I'm a huge fan of Dillon and Tyler and appreciate the kind of music they make. They are as country as it gets, and I think I fit in there somewhere too."

Carmichael's current single, the title track from his sophomore album, 'Son of A' (out 10.22 via Riser House Records), is busy climbing the country radio charts after debuting on Mediabase as the No.1 most-added single upon impact this past fall. Written by Carmichael, Casey Beathard and Phil O'Donnell, the "powerful" (Whiskey Riff) tune also features background vocals by his mother, Becky Montgomery.

The Kentucky troubadour is busy on the road through the end of the year, continuing his headline 'Son Of A' tour and opening dates for Brooks & Dunn, Justin Moore, Travis Tritt and more. For more information and to purchase tickets to upcoming shows, please visit dilloncarmichael.com.
