The Who's Who of Disney Junior Dance Party On Tour: Costume Designer Veronica Manoyan

Tagui Veronica Manoyan was born and raised in Yerevan Armenia. She came to America with her family in 1995 after graduating from The State Engineering University of Armenia where she received her degree in cybernetics and mathematics. Tagui's early technical training and background would later become useful tools for a new career in the fashion industry.

In 2000, Tagui changed her career path and joined her family owned business Bon Choix Couture. Founded in 1963 by Tagui's mother-in-law Mariam Barbar, she now became owner and creative art director/designer for the company. Tagui often credits her mother-in-law as a major influence during the early part of her career. "I am very grateful for my mother-in-law for passing on her unique techniques and tricks and helping me build a solid foundation." Since then, Tagui has earned the recognition and reputation as one of the most successful women in the costume and fashion industry. She has many people to credit for her success today, but it was her father who was and continues to be her greatest inspiration. "My father was my first hero...he is passionate and dedicated professor who loves his work. He taught me how to be successful."

Tagui has earned the respect and recognition by many high profile celebrities and entertainment personalities in the industry.

So much of Tagui's life was about overcoming challenges. Today she continues to be motivated by finding "simple solutions to seemingly complex problems." But it was never the challenges alone that inspires and motivates Tagui. "I enjoy the challenges of solving creative problems, but more importantly is having not only a complete costume in hand, but also to see a big smile on the faces of my client. That to me is the greatest success in this industry."
