Django Django Releases Amazon Original “Spirals (Dave Sitek Remix)”

Django Django shared “Spirals” earlier this month, their first new music since 2018’s Winter’s Beach EP. “Spirals,” inspired by the image of DNA, was praised by NME, Under The Radar, Brooklyn Vegan, Clash Magazine and more, including Consequence of Sound who said, “With frontman Vincent Neff leading the way with a spell-like cadence, ‘Spirals’ chugs along with propulsive energy until its guitars and drums lock into a looping groove.”

Django Django have been described by Pitchfork as “the mad scientists of UK psych-rock” and their debut LP was nominated for the Mercury Prize, selected for Rolling Stone’s Best Albums of 2012 and included in the book 1001 Records To Listen To Before You Die. Their most recent full length is 2018’s Marble Skies.

Musician and producer Dave Sitek is a founding member of TV on the Radio who is equally known for his work with Beyoncé & Jay-Z, Weezer, Grouplove, and Yeah Yeah Yeahs, to name a few. This year, Sitek announced a new band the Neverly Boys with singer-songwriter/producer Daniel Ledinsky who together released their debut album Dark Side of Everything which was praised by Billboard, Pitchfork, Stereogum, KEXP,FLOOD Magazine, and many more.
