For months, fans of Don Louis – the Texas-raised, country-R&B fusion artist praised by Billboard for his “burly, gritty and captivating” voice – have begged him to release a song he’s only shared on social media. After clips of the song have surpassed 2 million views online, Louis is giving his fans the long-awaited studio version of his new song “For The Broken,” out today (5.2) via EMPIRE.

Don Louis is no stranger to adversity – growing up in poverty on a muddy Texas farm in a single-wide trailer – and in “For The Broken,” he honors anyone who has felt the weight of struggle and the power of resilience, giving gratitude through it all, claiming “every breath I take I take as a blessing.”
The hope-fueled track, his most vulnerable yet, is for anyone that’s fought battles, seen or unseen – the single moms, the cancer survivors, the soldiers returning from war, the underpaid and overworked – Louis pays tribute to their strength and bravery with a cathartic chorus repeating: “there’s hope for the hopeless.”
Following the success of his 2024 country debut Liquor Talkin’ and a milestone of 100 million global streams, Louis recently released Liquor Talkin’ Deluxe (4.18), a bold, reimagined edition of his breakout project. The new edition spotlights his uniquely magnetic style, weaving together fan-favorites like the groovy “XO,” the twist-filled “She Ain’t Crazy Yet,” and the punchy “Look What You Made Me Do” with standout collaborations, including with country pop-rock songstress Sophia Scott in the fiery “She’s Trouble (feat. Sophia Scott)” and Cuban-American sensation Sammy Arriaga in the introspective “Mine In My Mind (feat. Sammy Arriaga)".
