Bea Koramblyum has been promoted to Senior Director, Business Affairs for Downtown Music Publishing. She was previously Director of Business Affairs.
In her new role, Koramblyum will oversee the drafting and negotiations of Downtown's worldwide range of publishing administration, co-publishing, and synch and new media agreements, on behalf of all domestic and international offices. She will report directly to COO and General Counsel Andrew Bergman.
"Bea has been an instrumental component of Downtown's business affairs department over the last 5 years," says Bergman. "I'm pleased to announce her promotion and to recognize her continuing personal and professional growth."
Prior to joining Downtown, Bea was a paralegal with Davis Shapiro Lewit & Hayes, where she was involved in the day-to-day business affairs of many high profile recording artists such as Kanye West, Raekwon, LL Cool J and Ludacris. In addition to her work for DMP, she is on the Board of Directors and Events Co-Chair for Women In Music, a professional non-profit organization dedicated to supporting, cultivating, and recognizing the talents of women in all areas of the music industry.
