Downtown Music Publishing has promoted Chinua Green to Manager, Digital and Video Operations. Green, based in New York, is now responsible for the day-to-day management of Downtown's relationships with its digital partners in the United States. In this cross-disciplinary role, Green will work with the company's Business Affairs, Administration and Technology departments to ensure that Downtown clients will continue to receive best-in-class service. He will also be responsible for monitoring emerging royalty trends and optimizing data distribution. Green will report to Andrew Sparkler, Downtown's Vice President, Business Affairs and Operations.

Prior to taking on this expanded role, Green was Downtown's YouTube Specialist, where he delivered, protected, and monetized clients' music throughout an estimated 7 billion hours of video watched every month on the platform. "Chinua has been an incredible leader of Downtown's YouTube team and we are excited to expand his role to include all digital services," said Sparkler. "He is the rare specialist who possesses both a deep understanding of the underlying technology and the sophistication to clearly and effectively represent our clients' interests."
