Elizabeth Cook Unveils Debut Music Video From 'Exodus Of Venus'

Extensive Tour Announced Includes Hotel Cafe In L.A. June 7 + Joe's Pub In NYC June 15

Elizabeth Cook, the bold and brilliant Nashville singer-songwriter and country music outlaw, will release her first album since 2010's 'Welder' on June 17, 'Exodus Of Venus.' She's unveiled the first video for the album - a live filmed performance of "Slow Pain," a burning, churning guttural country blues that stretches past the five-minute mark.

NPR Music recently deemed Elizabeth a "treasure" of the Americana scene and this album was on Rolling Stone Country's most anticipated 2016 albums list.

The album represents a knife-sharp and transcendent take on hard times, survival and rebirth that she's endured over the past few years. "Listening to this batch of 11 new songs, it's as if she's emerged from a dark night of the soul and felt the need to push against the limits of her expression," says NPR.

Elizabeth has added dates to a huge tour that runs through August and includes LA June 7 at Hotel Cafe and NYC June 15 at Joe's Pub.
