THE 50th ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION CONTINUES WITH 90-TRACK AMERICAN SOUND 1969 DIGITAL SET OUT AUGUST 23
New York, NY – Today, RCA/Legacy Recordings, a division of Sony Music Entertainment, has released Live 1969 - a collection of eleven full performances from Elvis Presley’s legendary 57-show run at the International Hotel in Las Vegas. Featuring the inclusion of never-before-heard recordings and four complete shows available in full for the first time, Live 1969 captures Presley at the height of his powers in the midst of what some have called the greatest comeback in music history.
The “dazzling 11-CD set” (Washington Post) led the New York Times to note that Live 1969 captures a pivotal moment “that not only revitalized Elvis’ career, but changed the face of Las Vegas entertainment.”
