EVA, the entertainment tech company that connects performers with corporate and private events, is officially launching today in Los Angeles, marking its ninth market to date. Already transforming how talent is booked in major music hubs like New York and Nashville, EVA now brings its innovative platform to LA, offering corporate bookers access to more than 100 artists, speakers, comedians, and other top-tier entertainers for private events. Explore EVA’s LA offerings HERE.
This past April marked a decade since co-founders Channing Moreland and Makenzie Stokel launched EVA from their dorm room at Belmont University. Since 2015, EVA has paid out over $6 million to entertainers and successfully booked more than 2,000 events across eight major markets: Nashville, Austin, Charlotte, Atlanta, Dallas, Chicago, New Orleans, and New York. The company has powered large-scale experiences for big names including Dell, Amazon Web Services, Bank of America, and Smile Direct Club. EVA’s reach spans from intimate bar settings to full-scale music venues — including a standout moment when they shut down the entire stretch of Nashville’s Broadway, booking every bar and honky-tonk to feature performances by more than 28 artists in a single night.
With an intuitive, Airbnb-style filtering system that lets both entertainers and event planners set preferences like budget, availability, genre, and more, EVA delivers real earning potential and modern convenience in an industry still bogged down by outdated methods. For artists, it opens up a consistent new revenue stream—offering access to corporate gigs like conferences, retreats, holiday parties, and other paid events in the cities where EVA operates. For corporate bookers, it’s a long-overdue upgrade to a clunky process, finally making entertainment booking as seamless as everything else in the digital age.
As of launch, Los Angeles boasts the highest number of entertainers pre-registered on EVA of any market to date. Notable names like Ni/Co, Alfiya Glow, and BLKWTR are already available to book in the heart of the global entertainment industry.
Channing and Makenzie said, "Launching in LA is not just another step—it’s a seismic one. This city runs on talent, and EVA was built to serve that talent. We’re proud to open our doors to a community that has already shown extraordinary enthusiasm for what we’re building.”
