About Eggpicnic
Eggpicnic is an acclaimed design studio devoted to wildlife conservation set up by designers and birders Camila De Gregorio and Christopher Macaluso. They produce art prints and public art to end wildlife extinction through education and to raise public support for birdlife worldwide. They actively support conservation programs, with profits from their work directly donated to support scientific research.
In 2023, their work was selected to illuminate the façade of the Australian Parliament House and for Vivid Sydney 2023, with their animations projected on all four pylons of the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
Their work has been transformed into impressive large-scale public art installations, commissioned by the City of Sydney, the City of Melbourne, Sydney Olympic Park, and at Bondi Beach. Recognised for their artistic excellence, they received accolades from the Sydney Opera House in 2019. Collaborating closely with scientists, they initiated a joint research project with Dr. Kate Umbers from the School of Science at Western Sydney University to quantify the tangible impact of art on conservation efforts.
About The Birdsong Society
Born out of the For The Birds: The Birdsong Project, we proudly announce The Birdsong Society. This new collective will unite Artists, Environmentalists, and Innovators to build a culturally diverse community of collaborators supporting and celebrating the birds.
The Birdsong Society will be a global force, exploring the depths of birdsong, creating art inspired by its mysterious beauty, and working to better understand our impact on birds and their environment. At the heart of our mission is the belief that birdsong is not only a powerful force for positive change but also has the potential to inspire people to live more sustainably and with greater appreciation For The Birds.
The Birdsong Society is committed to programming, including educational discussions, panels with global experts, guided meditation series (with Birdsong Project co-founder Rebecca Reagan), curated collections of Birdsong Project-inspired filmmaking, a new upcoming Shepard Fairey collaboration, and much more. Music and poetry remain central to our activities as we continue to grow.
We strongly believe that each artist’s work is informed by the world they come from. For The Birds: The Birdsong Project represents cultures from 31 countries, spanning from small towns in Northwest Africa to the rural countryside of Ireland and bustling cities like Paris, Tokyo, and New York. This diversity is a cornerstone of our commitment to building a truly global society, The Birdsong Society.

The Birdsong Project was produced by Randall Poster, the Grammy Award-winning producer and music supervisor known for his longtime work with Wes Anderson and Martin Scorsese. It was conceived and inspired by Executive Producer Rebecca Reagan, who brought a grand creative vision and wisdom to the project. Additional executive producers are Elliot Bergman, Stewart Lerman, and Lee Ranaldo.
