Tonight, Ghostface Killah will appear on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. He will be joined by The Revelations and Blue Note Record's rising soul star Kandace Springs for a performance of "Love Don't Live Here No More."
The performance follows the critical success of Ghostface Killah's latest solo LP, '36 Seasons,' which The New York Times called "a boom-bap fantasia" and Entertainment Weekly deemed "easily superior to the new Wu-Tang joint." The Boston Globe said "The most prolific member of the Wu-Tang Clan continues to set the standard," and the LA Times called it "An urgent, soulfully steely album." Okayplayer, in naming it #8 on their Best Albums of 2014 list, exclaimed that "Ghostface Killah just dropped a bomb on the world."
'36 Seasons' was produced by The Revelations, a Brooklyn-based soul band/production team. They were joined on select tracks by The 45 King, Fizzy Womack (a/k/a Lil Fame of M.O.P) and Malik Abdul-Rahmaan.
