“Another wild and righteous celebration of an album (Solidaritine) from Gogol Bordello.

Their Tiny Desk concert from back in 2010 was so much the stuff of legend that

we still talk about it in the office today.” - NPR

International punk band Gogol Bordello is celebrating 15 years of their infamous New Year’s Eve shows this year at Brooklyn Bowl New York & Philadelphia from December 28-31. Led by Ukrainian frontman Eugene Hütz, the band just announced lineups for the Brooklyn shows, toasting the unbreakable spirit of NYC: hardcore legends Murphy’s Law are joined by Incendiary Device and fresh faces Balaklava Blues (whose debut single “Gimme” already reached 1M+ YouTube views), Crazy & The Brains and Puzzled Panther. A new trio featuring Eugene Hütz alongside punk legends Walter Schreifels (Gorilla Biscuits, Quicksand) and Jesse Malin (D Generation) will also be playing as Hardcore Highwayman - complete lineups, dates & tickets here and below.

Gogol Bordello has started a fundraiser for people who donate to Nova Ukraine to win a trip to New York with hotel stay, goodies and two VIP tickets to the New Year’s Eve show at Brooklyn Bowl on December 31 at https://fandiem.com/sweeps/bordello.

Since the band’s genesis in the Lower East Side punk-rock scene of 1999, Gogol Bordello have been riling up audiences with an inimitable patchwork of raucous punk and Eastern European Gypsy-swing. Latest album Solidaritine takes them back to hardcore roots with a renewed sense of urgency, as Hütz explains: “Solidaritine is the substance that unlocks our empathy and our full human potential…May this be your punky uplift for our packed with troubled times.”

Hütz has also appeared in art house films such as Liev Schreiber’s Everything Is Illuminated with Elijah Wood and Filth and Wisdom helmed by Madonna. Gogol Bordello has lit up stages around the world alongside System of a DownPrimusRancidDropkick Murphys, dueted with Regina Spektor and cut albums with legends Rick Rubin and Steve Albini. More collaborations to come.
