Hailey Knox Channels Original Voice and Web Success Into Debut EP out June 24th on S-Curve Records

Hailey Knox, the 17-year-old whose irreverent, original songs and mesmerizing guitar-and-loop pedal performances have earned her breakout viral success, has just released her new single "Geeks" from her forthcoming EP titled 'A Little Awkward', out June 24 on S-Curve Records.

The single, co-written by Hailey, is an empowering ode to those of us who never sat at the cool kids' table, calling to mind a Gen Z Alanis Morissette, with smart songwriting that is at once poignant and infectious.

Oh, we know what we're worth,

and you'll get what you deserve

when all of the geeks inherit the earth.

Elsewhere on the EP, Hailey sings of body image issues and being stalked online by her parents, with uncommon candor and a pop culture epicure's touch, name-checking everyone from Basquiat and DeBarge, to Shake Shack and Raiders of the Lost Ark.

Although "Geeks" is Hailey's first studio recording, she has already earned a sizable and devoted following - 70K strong and counting - via her performances on the rapidly growing livestreaming platform YouNow. Knox was profiled as a YouNow success story in Billboard earlier this year, and earned a nomination for "YouNower of the Year" at the 2016 Shorty Awards.

Hailey Knox will play a special show previewing the 'A Little Awkward' EP at The Box in NYC on May 24. Stay tuned for more dates to be announced soon.
